This folding umbrella is definitely not your average rainy-day accessory. A special collab with Maehara Kouei Shoten — one of Japan’s most respected umbrella makers — it brings together traditional craftsmanship and a sleek, modern vibe.

It’s built to last with a sturdy 8-rib frame, and the fabric is the same durable nylon twill used in PORTER’s famous "TANKER" series. Every umbrella is carefully handmade by skilled artisans, from the fabric cutting to the final touches.

And the bonus? It comes with a matching umbrella case made by Yoshida & Co., using the same material. A small detail that makes a big difference.

    About Maehara Kouei Shoten
Founded in Tokyo back in 1948, Maehara is a true icon when it comes to umbrellas in Japan. Proudly made in Japan from start to finish, they use refined materials like silk and natural wood. Their umbrellas are so well-crafted, even the Japanese Imperial Family has used them.

In short: it’s stylish, functional, and full of heritage — the kind of umbrella you’ll actually be happy to carry.
