This tote bag from the Packable line is made of lightweight and durable ripstop fabric.
All the products in this series are packable, so they can be used in a wide range of situations and are very easy to use, not only for everyday use, but also for traveling, such as taking a smaller version with you and storing your increased luggage.
To make this possible, the fabric is 75D (denier) Cordura ripstop nylon made by INVISTA.
Nylon is a fabric with excellent tear and abrasion resistance, and is softer to the touch than polyester, but in addition it is ripstop, making it very strong even when thin.
In addition to the water repellency of the nylon itself, a polyurethane coating is applied to the reverse side, which prevents water from entering, although not completely.
The side pockets on this vertical tote bag are very convenient and useful in a variety of situations.
