USELESS FIGHTERS is a new publication that resists the tired clichés of snow play and Alpine tourism, to show how fascinating and important mountains are to culture, politics, identity, sport, and the world. A beautiful, contemporary biannual that reimagines the mountains for a new audience.

Mountains are not the sole terrain of European resorts and recreation. USELESS FIGHTERS corrects the old fashioned, white tourist fantasy. It looks at mountains from a global perspective – through photography, fashion, art, personalities, sport, conversation and narrative.

Published by PERMANENT.FILES, a new creative joint venture between visionary designer-entrepreneur Ramdane Touhami and art director Léonard Vernhet (EPOCH Review). Permanent is a 360° creative entity, it specializes in the creation, curation and production of publications, image and new ideas through magazines, film, books, clothing and more.

Returns
- Made-to-order items (24H PROPOSITION t-shirts) are final sale — no return, exchange or refund for change of mind (French Consumer Code, art. L221-28). The legal guarantee of conformity still applies.
- All other items: 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery. Request a return under “Manage my orders” in your account to receive a prepaid label, or email store@wordssoundscolorsandshapes.com.
