WOOL DUFFLE ANORAK
This coat is made from spun wool yarn woven in a twill pattern and fully shrunk through a tumbler finishing process. To preserve the rich texture created by tumbling, no pressing is applied, resulting in a coarse, natural feel. Despite its thickness, the fabric remains surprisingly lightweight.
The design evokes traditional monk robes and shepherd cloaks, drawing inspiration from primitive tunics while incorporating modern patterning and side pleats to create a flattering A-line silhouette.
Attention to detail extends to the accessories: buffalo horn toggles, hemp cords, handcrafted leather stoppers, and vintage German wood beads are all thoughtfully used, enhancing the coat’s pastoral, artisanal character.
