BARREL LEG PANTS
Crafted from cotton taffeta woven in Okayama on vintage shuttle looms.
The slow weaving speed of these looms preserves the natural character of the yarn, resulting in a fabric with a soft, voluminous hand and rich texture.
This fabric is used in its unprocessed state undyed, unbleached, and unwashed to retain the raw beauty and natural tone of cotton.
As with traditional vintage fabrics, small impurities and irregularities remain, giving each piece a unique and organic expression.
The silhouette features a gentle volume through the leg that tapers toward the hem, forming a distinctive barrel shape.
Constructed with cotton thread and chain stitching, then garment-washed to create natural puckering and enhance the fabric’s texture.
The pointed flap pockets subtly reference the brand name, DIE DREI BERGE. Finishing touches include vintage-style brass buttons and a cotton-tape TALON zipper.
A piece rich in material, craftsmanship, and narrative.
